Torpoint Sea Scouts cycled 909 miles, but went nowhere recently when they rode exercise cycles non-stop from 5pm one day, until 11.30 the following day. They were raising money for their summer camp to Switzerland. They also held a coffee morning as their ride ended. Their leader and four scouts will also be travelling to the World Jamboree in 2011 in Sweden. They each have to raise £2,000 to enable them to go. For details go to www.WSJKernow.com
