Paulsfotos Torpoint - Best Community Project Award

A Torpoint garden project has been awarded the Best Community Project in Cornwall 2010 at a presentation by HRH Camilla Duchess of Cornwall in Truro Cathedral. The awards ceremony is run by the Cornwall Community Foundation. The award was for the regeneration of the Georgian walled garden that is now Benodet Garden of Friendship in Thanckes Park. Peter McLaren chairman of the Allotments Association received the award from the Duchess.
