These two ladies celebrated their 104th birthdays within 12 days of each other in July. Both are resident in Tamara House. Florence (Phyl) Woolcock was born on 1st July 1906 in Hampshire, but has lived in Torpoint since 1928. Winifred Dudley was born in Torquay on 11th July, 1906 and has lived in Cornwall for over 40 years. The Mayor and Mayoress visited and presented them with a bouquet of flowers each. The cook baked a celebration cake for them.
