Children from Torpoint Nursery and Infants School received their Teddy Bear back after it circumnavigated the World with a Plymouth Policeman who took part in the 2009/10 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. The sailor who is one of 82 new people to have circumnavigated the world in the race. He called at school before the end of term and returned the teddy to the children.

The children also handed over a cheque for £100 to Torpoint Archives who had provided photos for the school's centenary display.
